Controls Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join a growing food manufacturer. The ideal candidate will design, develop, install, and upgrade machine controls for our manufacturing machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong technical background in automation, PLC programming, and electrical engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automated control systems for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation issues.
- Configure and program HMIs and PLC systems.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics and drawings.
- Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers on automation projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Experience with HMI design and configuration.
- Knowledge of motion control systems, robotics, and machine vision.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
